The original layout of the apartment didn’t quite reflect the lifestyle of its owners, and the architect proposed a more functional zoning option.
The walls of the bathroom and the large room were moved to transform the hall into an open space that plays the role of a living room-entrance hall. Here is a large corner sofa, a great place for receiving guests and one’s relaxation.
The open space interior of the living room is a great example of modern urban design, not overloaded with details. The laconic shape of the furniture and the pastel tone of the walls positively emphasize the natural texture of the wood flooring. Working with planes and volumes eliminated the need for bright color accents, and allowed focusing on a neutral palette.
The design of the kitchen-dining room is done in a modern industrial style and is characterized by a reasonable arrangement of functional areas. Due to the wide doorway leading to the living room, the space is perceived as a whole.
The master bedroom area, according to the wishes of the clients themselves, was enlarged by dismantling the balcony partitions. To avoid the excess of furniture, a spacious dressing room was equipped in the bedroom.
