The Belgian designer Alain Gilles has developed a new series of wicker furniture - Basket and Wicked specially for the Vincent Sheppard factory. The first line includes side tables of various sizes, and the second line includes armchairs and a sofa in a similar design.
The product design is based on a steel frame and soft cozy rattan, thereby emphasizing the contrast between manual and industrial production.
The special functionality of Basket tables is definitely worth mentioning. In their lower part there are baskets for small things, and a removable tabletop made of solid natural wood serves as a convenient tray.
