This unusual armchair is Philip Ahlström's first work. The inspiration for this project was the original form of the Monstera deliciosa plant, from tropical regions of South and Central America.
And the result of this inspiration was an elegant leaf that invites you to sit down and relax in its arms. The openwork shape of the seat and back accurately repeats the contours of its natural prototype. And even the height of 120 cm is almost the same as that of real monstera leaves. The shiny surface makes the chair almost indistinguishable from a real plant.
Even the colors, green and white, are perfect for the feeling of "aliveness" of this masterpiece. The steel base ensures the strength of the structure, and the fiberglass from which the outer structure is made gives the perfect smoothness and shine to all surfaces. The designer chair is fixed on a movable stable base and easily rotates around its axis.
Such an unusual copy of a living plant will perfectly fit in any interior, especially when there are real large-leaved green flowers nearby.
