MINIMALISM

Minimalism is the brightest and most controversial style of the second half of the XX century. It appeared as a result of the merger of design and architectural ambitions of East and West. This style is universal, and its hallmark is mobility and the ability to transform.

Minimalism is a style of extremely laconic shapes, and is characterized by complete absence of decor, ornaments or detailing of facade decoration. Everything is clear and simple here, and there is no place for unnecessary details. Shapes are close to perfection and maximally functional.

Minimalistic interior is distinguished by a clearly planned space, clarity of compositions, monochrome, emphasized naturalness of textures. Natural simplicity, created at minimum cost and in tune with the desire for mind peace, inner harmony - this is the essence of a Minimalistic interior.

Creating such interior implies that a large area is available, where it is easier to place accents. At the same time, both expensive and cheap finishing materials can be used, but an interior itself will always be expensive, and above all in terms of content - internal, hidden fullness, where orderliness, elusive sensuality and lightness are organically combined.

Furniture plays an important role in a Minimalistic interior. The freedom of a large space can be emphasized by the openness of cabinet furniture with strict geometric lines. Shelving or wardrobe cabinets should have a minimum of hinged doors, with a predominance of sliding elements horizontally and vertically. The surface of facades is devoid of texture and door handles. Furniture materials are the most modern: steel, frosted glass, natural wood, and aluminum profiles.

Maximum functionality is achieved by placing furniture along the walls, allowing it to fit naturally into the living environment and optically enlarge a room, reveal spatial depth and perspective. At the same time, one should not forget about the main philosophy of minimalism - concern for human comfort, ease of use and versatility, combined with the latest technologies.

A Minimalistic interior does not tolerate annoying colors, it prefers light shades and soothing colors: black, white, cream, gray. The poise of Minimalism is most clearly reflected in black and white graphics, with bright splashes of complementary colors added in furniture and accessories.

Minimalism addresses people with a rich imagination, a sense of style and color, those perceive it as a special form of life, revealing the charm of simplicity and the significance of their own worldview. Therefore, choosing this style for your home, you need to strictly follow the order. Minimalism is not compatible with creative chaos; there is nothing superfluous in this style. Scattered books or things not put away in a closet will only violate the integrity of an interior and irritate the eye.
